Q1: Can this cellular security camera connect to WiFi??

A: No, This 4G LTE cellular security camera only supports 3G/4G LTE SIM card and doesn't support Ethernet cables or WiFi connections. You can use the SIM card(in the box or package)or use your own SIM card. If you use the SIM card in the box or package you can top up the data directly on the UBOX APP.

Q2: Can this cellular camera be used in other countries?

A: Suitable to use in the North American areas (US, Mexico, Canada). Other countries are incompatible. If you want to use it in Canada or Mexico, you need to insert a local SIM card.

Q3: Why is the alarm not triggered when people or animals pass by?

A: There are maybe 4 reasons you need to check:

1) the sensitivity setting is too low. Please check the detection sensitivity in the UBOX app. You could choose the sensitivity level. ( Low-Middle-High)

2) Please check if you set the detection zone. The camera will not detect people or animals outside the detection area.

3) Please check if you set the detection time. The camera will not detect people or animals during non-working hours.

4) If the data runs out, you will not receive instant notifications. But the camera will capture some pictures and save in the app. If you put a micro sd card in the camera, it will save videos.

Q4: why couldn't connect my camera with 4G network?

A: Please check the following reasons:

  1. Whether the SIM card is inserted correctly.
  2. Whether the correct SIM card type is used. This camera supports prepaid SIM card which works with verizon, AT&T, T-mobile.
  3. Whether the SIM card has enough traffic.

Q5: Is this prepaid SIM card? how does the data plan charge? If I don't top up in time, will this camera go offline?
